When you train in STor bat skill for DT:Does it make your batters better hitters by training againsta better pitcher? Or could I just put anybody on the mound and the batter gets the same production?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but in ST I think if you put a non-pitcher on the mound you get more power gains and more contact/skill with a true pitcher. For DT I'm not sure at all. I haven't used a non-pitcher in a long time.

In DT it doesn't matter who is pitching. I firmly believe that using a pitcher in ST for batting pracitce greatly improves a batters skill over any hitting in DT. My team was a better hitting team when I trained only in ST.

I've always lived by this and still do...

You get more Bat Skill when training in ST then you do with a DT.

I can't say for sure I am right, but when I train bat skill, I use the ST trainer not the DT one.
