when should you use it in training i've been going by JT's guide should i use that on the forwards kick power and aim?

The wall can be a well utilized training area. However, for it to be used to it's full potential you should only use it when you have a player who can kick at higher than 80% power for this reason; After kicking the ball against the wall the player will attempt to get control of it once again before it bounces. If successful, this will train a player in reaction and Interception skill all at the same time. Use this area if you have a forward who can't trap the ball at all, it will really improve him.
