I don't like how when you post, it goes to the forum list instead of back to your post. I always check my post in the thread, so that means I have to click to get back in there. After I post, it should take me right to my post.

Also, the "after you submitted your post, another post has been made" warning doesn't seem necessary. I had to submit a post three times because of that. We can just go edit if there are things we want to add...

That's all...

Agreed. I absolutely have to read and check every one of my posts so I can begin the process of editing it 10 times. I guess I had not really thought about it, but the old forum did take you to your post instantly didn't it.

In your user control panel under Look and Layout Prefs there is this option.... Return to topics after posting by default.

See if that fixes your issues. Ummm problems.... umm.. see if that takes you back to your post.

Jon

*sniff* *sniff* I love you man. ;D

Nothing will fix my issues, that much is for sure. As for my posting problems, that solution worked. Merci!

Sweet! Thanks a lot! That UCP sure can come in handy huh. Honestly I would have never thought it would be a setting that I could change. I need a lot of guidance. ::)

Edit: Wow. It worked. This will save me lots of time and allow me to post many times faster and more often. It's a win-win situation for everyone! :)

LOL I wish it did show how many times I edited each of my posts. Everyone would be amazed.

There is another forum I frequent that when you edit your post, it's like making a new post and it bumps that thread to the top. I l know I tick lots of people off because of that. I am so glad this forum is not like that!

If you've ever seen me in chat, you know how poorly I type. I proof read real quick but always miss errors. Those all HAVE to be fixed. I always see different ways to word things too. If you have ever seen the show Monk, that's pretty much me when it comes to posting.

(I am trying really hard to not have to edit this post. ;)) edit: n/m - had to change "If you ever see me in chat" to "If you've ever seen me in chat" ::)
